Principal’s Welcome

Principal’s Welcome

Wandjoo and welcome. Thank you for taking the time to visit the Coodanup College website. I hope you find the information here valuable and that it provides a clear insight into the rich and varied educational opportunities available at our college.

Coodanup College is a co-educational public secondary school, proudly serving students from Years 7 to 12. We are located in the stunning coastal city of Mandurah, approximately 80 kilometres south of Perth. Our school sits on Binjareb Boodja, and we respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Binjareb people. We are deeply grateful to live, learn and grow on this culturally significant Country.

At Coodanup, we are committed to nurturing confidence, ambition, and a strong sense of self in every student. Our core values guide everything we do: We will be safe. We will be fair. We will be proud. We will learn.

We recognise the importance of working in partnership with families, carers, and our wider community. Your support is invaluable, and we warmly welcome your involvement as we place student learning and wellbeing at the heart of our college.

Our passionate and dedicated staff provide high-quality education that supports every student’s individual pathway. We offer flexible learning programs that reflect the diverse needs, interests, and aspirations of our students, ensuring they are well prepared for their futures – whether in further education, training, employment, or beyond.

Our programs are designed to inspire curiosity, build resilience, and encourage students to take on new challenges with confidence. Our vision – Explore. Dream. Discover. draws inspiration from the words of Mark Twain and encourages our students to take full advantage of the opportunities before them.

Coodanup College is dedicated to empowering students to become lifelong learners, equipped with the skills needed for life beyond school and guided by the values of learning, fairness, safety, and pride in their achievements.
