Welcome to Coodanup College

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Coodanup College website, and welcome. I hope it is informative and gives you an understanding of the many diverse educational experiences available at Coodanup.

A co-educational public college, Coodanup College is located 80km south of Perth in the beautiful, coastal City of Mandurah. Catering for years 7-12, we aim to instil ambition and drive in our students throughout their six years at Coodanup, supporting them to gain confidence in their abilities.

Family, carers and the community are integral to our operation, and we welcome the involvement and input into our college, where student learning is at the centre of everything we do…

Coodanup College students took part in an AUSTSWIM pilot program that’s created a real pathway into paid swimming teacher work right here in Mandurah.

Students completed their online learning at school, then spent two weeks at the MARC gaining hands-on experience and being mentored by the amazing Mandurah In-Term Swimming Team.

Programs like this give our young people the chance to follow their interests, gain qualifications, and step straight into meaningful local jobs while also helping meet a real community need.

Huge congratulations to our students for diving in and staying committed and a massive shoutout to our VET Team and partners for making this opportunity possible.

🎉 Orientation Day at Coodanup College!

Last week we welcomed our 2026 Year 7s for a fun-filled orientation day, and they had an absolute blast! From hands-on activities to exploring what high school is all about, they were all smiles from start to finish.

A huge shout-out to our amazing Transition Officer, Catherine, for organising such a fantastic day! And a big thank you to our incredible student leaders for their help and energy, as well as our dedicated staff who made the whole day such a success.

We can’t wait to see our new Year 7s again in 2026!

🎒✨ Dr YES brought the vibes to Coodanup last Tuesday!

Our Year 8, 9 and 10 students had an awesome time with the Dr YES team, a bunch of enthusiastic medical students who travel around WA chatting with young people about real life stuff… the things that really matter.

The sessions were fun, honest and totally judgement free. The students loved being able to ask questions, learn from people closer to their own age and get practical info they can actually use.

Here is what each group got stuck into:

Year 8s
Drugs and Alcohol
Lots of myths busted and a whole heap of “wait… really?” moments.

Year 9s
Sexual Health
Open conversations, helpful info and a space where no question was too awkward.

Year 10s
Mental Health
Tools, tips and real talk about looking after yourself and your mates.

Huge shout out to the Dr YES crew for creating such a positive and engaging day for our students. We are looking forward to having you back again!
