Lest We Forget
On this solemn day, we pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our great nations. ANZAC Day holds a special place in our hearts as we remember the sacrifices made by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
Today, we honour the unwavering courage, resilience, and selflessness of those who fought for our freedom. Their dedication and sacrifice have shaped our nations and remind us of the true meaning of bravery.
Let us take a moment to reflect on the ANZAC spirit, which embodies the values of loyalty, duty, and mateship. It is a reminder that we are at our best when we come together, supporting one another through the most challenging of times.
As we gather in remembrance, may we express our deepest gratitude to the servicemen, servicewomen and service animals who have served and are currently serving, ensuring our safety and protecting our freedoms. Your commitment and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We learned about the critical role of bushfires in the germination process of certain Australian plant species. In addition to the heat from fire, chemicals in smoke and ash can also trigger germination of some plants. This fascinating adaptation highlights the intricate relationship between fire, ecology, and the survival of these unique plant species.

Well done Mr Britton and Y11 ATAR!
Its Tuesday, which means it's time for another attendance tip!
🔑 It all starts with attendance. When we make the commitment to show up and be present in the classroom, we're opening doors to endless opportunities. Here's why:
Skill Development: Education equips us with essential life skills. By attending school regularly, we cultivate valuable abilities such as critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, and teamwork.
Social Growth: School is more than just textbooks and assignments; it's a hub for social interaction. Attending regularly allows us to connect with peers, navigate diverse personalities and develop crucial social skills that prepare us for life beyond the classroom.
Remember, the habit of attending school not only benefits us personally but also contributes to a thriving community.
