Welcome to Coodanup College

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Coodanup College website, and welcome. I hope it is informative and gives you an understanding of the many diverse educational experiences available at Coodanup.

A co-educational public college, Coodanup College is located 80km south of Perth in the beautiful, coastal City of Mandurah. Catering for years 7-12, we aim to instil ambition and drive in our students throughout their six years at Coodanup, supporting them to gain confidence in their abilities.

📚📝 We all know how important education is for our children's bright future, and one crucial aspect of that is daily attendance.

Let's take a moment over the school holidays to have a meaningful conversation with our children about the significance of showing up to school every day and help set them up for a successful Term 2.

Regular attendance lays the foundation for success in so many ways. It ensures that our children don't miss out on valuable learning opportunities, engaging classroom discussions, and crucial interactions with their peers and teachers.

Here are a few reasons why daily attendance matters:

1️⃣ Learning Continuity: Attending school daily helps our children stay on track with the curriculum and develop essential skills that will shape their academic journey.

2️⃣ Building Responsibility: By consistently attending school, our students learn the importance of commitment, punctuality, and taking ownership of their education. These are qualities that will serve them well throughout their lives.

3️⃣ Social Growth: School is not just about academics; it's also a place for children to forge friendships, develop social skills, and become part of a diverse community. Regular attendance allows them to build these connections.

4️⃣ Setting a Strong Work Ethic: By showing up every day, our children cultivate a strong work ethic and develop resilience.

Let's encourage our students to embrace the learning opportunities, make the most out of their education, and reach for the stars! 🌟
